Of all the responses. This is the quickest mitigation for me

I am also suffering with this and it is quite an issue. Please fix.
I confirm that disabling and re-enabling the Parallels Mouse Driver.

No news on this issue? Is there another official discussion thread?

In the end I worked with support to solve issue. The only permanent fix was to completely remove parallels tools, reboot, ans then do a fresh install. That's seems to be the permanent fix.

I tried it and unfortunately, after powering down the VM and starting it again, the problem comes back. So uninstalling and installing Parallels Tools is not a permanent fix (at least for me).

Same problem here, this problem came after a fresh install of both Mac OS X and parallells - however I do not have parallels toolbox installed

Parallels Toolbox and Parallels Tools are two different things. Parallels Tools are installed automatically in every Parallels Windows VM and are essential for correct function of the VM.

Yeah, removing Parallels Tools and reinstalling didn't work for me. After powering down the VM and starting again, the problem comes back.

Extremely annoyed. Parallels, please figure out the issue! Having to disable the Parallels USB Mouse synchronization device then reenable every time windows starts is NOT a solution!

    Hello,
For us to further investigate this issue, kindly reproduce the issue and collect a technical report (right-click Parallels icon in Dock > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and provide us with the report's 9-digit ID in reply to this post.
    Thank you.

I have the same issue; restarting works for me, but as many said, it comes back after every other power-up.

Same here, report send (475750402). Very annoying bug as scrolling is kind of.... essential. Also linked this thread in the report details, hope this gets fixed soon.

    Hello Everyone,
Please note that this is a known issue with Parallels Desktop and our development team is currently working on this issue.
As a temporary workaround, please follow the steps below to regain back normal scrolling (Without needing to reinstall Parallels Tools):
    1. Open Parallels Desktop > Launch your Virtual Machine
    2. If you notice the slow scrolling issue > Click on the "Actions" menu on top of the Mac menu bar > Suspend
    3. Once the virtual machine is suspended > Resume it again by clicking on the play button
Performing the steps above shall allow you to regain back the normal scrolling.
We advise you to subscribe to this article https://kb.parallels.com/en/130212 ("Get Updates" button) to get informed once there are any updates on this.
    Thank you.

I'm not sure if it's related, but likely is.. my continuity camera also looses the ability to be seen in the Windows environment. A reinstall of Parallel tools fixes it temporarily until a restart, like others have mentioned. Hopefully this also gets patched in the next release.
