Windows Update (W10) under Parallels Desktop 16 problem

I can't be 100% certain because I don't run windows update too frequently, but I *think* this started happening when I installed the most recent desktop 16 update - when I run Windows Update, it just seems too chug away and never gets anywhere. Any ideas?

This seems to have corrected itself - I can only assume it was a problem with the Microsoft server being extremely busy at the times I was trying to update. Sorry to have bothered this forum.
