Also my attempt to do the registry hack as mentioned in one of the first posts failed.
There is no Windowsupdate folder as mentioned in this post.
When I attempt to make this folder an error message appears telling me a folder with this name already exists.
Beats me. I cannot see this folder.
This is why I hate all Microsoft stuff, but I have to work with Windows cause of one little program called vMix...
Creating a new registry key "Windowsupdate" in Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows with the three value as shown here seems to have worked for me...
If you look carefully, you will see that it says CREATE A NEW REGISTRY KEY. If you have never used REGEDIT, before, if you attempt this, make sure you back up the Registry before attempting to edit.
