I have enabled SmartGuard on all my VMs, because I back them up using TimeMachine. However, SmartGuard usually waits for me to turn on the VM, and once it's up and running, prompts me to create a snapshot. Of course I can disable the prompts, but then it just takes the snapshot right away anyway. I do not think taking a snapshot while the VM is running is ideal, and I would prefer if SmartGuard waited until the VM is stopped before taking a snapshot.
