Share virtual disks between VMs

I know I can share a virtual disk between 2 VMs, but is it possible to do so while both VMs are powered on? I'm running FreeDOS in one VM and I want to be able to put files on it. Right now I share the FreeDOS disk to a Fedora Linux VM, but I can't power them both on at the same time.

Before anyone suggests, I can't use FreeDOS networking because I need to get the networking drivers on it first :).

Hi DonC7. A virtual hard disk can be accessed by only one VM at a time. In order to use it with the other VM, you need to shut down the previous VM to which the hard disk is connected to.
