freedos

Hello all I'm trying to create a FreeDOS VM just for fun. I've selected the ISO, the other OS type and gone to the machine configuration, but I can't find an option under the CPU tab to enable x86 emulation, and I thought there was meant to be an option there. Is there something I'm missing?

I know I can share a virtual disk between 2 VMs, but is it possible to do so while both VMs are powered on? I'm running FreeDOS in one VM and I want to be able to put files on it. Right now I share the FreeDOS disk to a Fedora Linux VM, but I can't power them both on at the same time. Before...
