Running 144Hz in a Windows VM

Hi all, I can't seem to find any answers on how to solve this issue:
My Macbook Pro is running 144Hz on a connected Asus 144Hz monitor. However when I run a Windows 7 VM, I can only do 60Hz. Is there anyway to solve this issue? 144Hz is essential for efficient slow mo video editing.

Hi EthanB1. Parallels Display Adapter (WDDM) only works on the same resolution/refresh rate of the Mac display. You may switch the VM to full screen view and extend it to the external display.
