144hz

Hi all, I can't seem to find any answers on how to solve this issue: My Macbook Pro is running 144Hz on a connected Asus 144Hz monitor. However when I run a Windows 7 VM, I can only do 60Hz. Is there anyway to solve this issue? 144Hz is essential for efficient slow mo video editing.
