I created a macOS(Ventura 13.3.1) vm on my MBP M2 Pro to use as my development environment but I'm struggling to get my external monitor, a Dell U2723QE, to work nicely with it. Currently the clarity is so bad it hurts my eyes and I just can't seem to find a workable configuration for it. It is unusable for me currently over longer periods.
I have read the manual instructions needed for it (which is just crazy - can't someone develop a simple solution for these changes?) Anyway, this is what I have currently in my config.ini:
[Hardware]
vCPU.Count=4
Memory.Size=6442450944
Display.Width=3008
Display.Height=1692
Display.DPI=254
Sound.Enabled=1
Network.Type=1
Can anyone advise what would be the most optimal config based on my external 4K monitor please? Also, please advise whether I would then need to change the config.ini each time I want to use the display on my MBP ?
