Horizontal mouse scroll bugged in specific application

I am using an application called "Quantower". It's a trading platform on which I need the horizontal scroll to zoom in and out of charts. The horizontal scroll is completely bugged. Down-scroll is supposed to zoom in, which works. Up-scroll is supposed to zoom out, but it behaves exactly as the down-scroll. It's definitely a Parallels issue. Tested the application and mouse on a Windows PC > scroll works as expected. Tested with Windows 11 on VMware > scroll works as expected.

How can I fix this issue? I already played around with the mouse configuration on Mac and the virtual machine, but nothing helps.

System: Macbook Pro M1 Pro
OS: MacOS Montery

I have the exact same issue.

To add, when I use parallels windows 11, and scroll in other common apps like browsers and file explorer, it works fine. But with Quantower and also Rithmic R Trader Pro, the scroll function is buggy. Quantower it only scrolls on one direction even though I try scrolling both ways. R Trader Pro scrolls intermittently.

I am using a Magic mouse that is connected wirelessly to an iMAc.

I didn't follow through. I was already on the fence about using Parallels for trading. Since my scrolling was limited to the trading platform I figured it was an issue on the software side of the Quantower. Either way, I ended up switching to Motivewave using Rithmic. Trading with Topstep and Apex. Works fine. Steep learning curve to get used to the details of the platform. Sorry I couldn't offer much of a solution. Good luck.

It's not obvious from my post: I use Motivewave on MacOS not parallels.
 
This issue continues to persist with the mouse one way scroll on Quantower application. Finally found a mouse which works properly. Its the basic Logitech Pebble mouse v1. The v2 Pebble has the same issues. My Mx Master 3 Logitech also has same issues as mentioned by others. Its about time we have a fix for this.
 
Scrolling/zooming issues have been persistent on Parallels on most trading platforms since years. I noticed it on Tradingview couple of years back and contacted customer service with no help. They kept going round and round asking for all sorts of details, screenshot, video recording, when the the issue is so obvious if they just open any of the software and scroll/zoom. I had hoped that such an awful issue would be fixed by now after years, to see that it's still there on most trading platforms i.e.Tradingview, Tradovate, Quanttower. Through so many new versions and such extra fancy features, sad to see such a simple issue is still not fixed, makes it useless to use Parallels to run Windows for trading
 
An update on my particular situation with Quantower. I did find that the scrolling issue with my Logitech MX Master 3S did fix from one of the beta updates of Quantower. However, my issues with using the software with Parallels also included general performance (slow, choppy/lag graphically), despite me running from a Intel i9 with 32GB ram +8GB Radeon (tried many configurations via Parallels support). I first tried a full cleaning of my laptop (fans were caked with dust) and re-thermal paste, which did bump Quantower performance some. However, what I eventually tried was Boot Camp (which I know is the opposite of what we're after using Parallels!), and the Quantower performance in Boot Camp is flawless. Ultimately, there are some apps that simply struggle with Parallels but if you're a trader using a Windows-native app, fast performance is key.
