I am using a Macbook Pro M1 2021, and only using the built-in trackpad, to run a Linux guest.
I understand that Linux/Ubuntu has moved towards using libinput, and that this means that trackpad scroll speed is not customizable.
Further, the virtual mouse provided by Parallels is not a trackpad...

Hi,
for me on Ventura, Parallels 18.1 Clipboard sharing does not work on Ubuntu 22.10 and Raspberry Pi OS using Debian Bullseye. It does work with Windows 11. I have checked for clipboard tools, none that I could identify. So is my impression correct, that it just doesn't work, or is there...
Resuming Ubuntu 22.04 (as of P18) FREQUENTLY will not resume the machine to a working state (Desktop appears, but its locked up hard-- only a 'reset' fixes it-- not good because you lose your current state).
Linux Mint after upgrading to 18.10 on 1/2 of my VMs is completely dead (Will not get...
Hi,
I am trying to install older version of Ubuntu on the latest Parallels Desktop version but I get multiple errors during the installation. Is it because my Parallels version not supporting older versions of Ubuntu? any ideas what to do?
Installed the latest Parallels update 18.0.2. Then Parallels Tool installed itself and rebooted Ubuntu.
Now I get kernel panic upon booting.
VFS: cannot open root device or unknown-block (0,0): error -6.
Kernel Panic - not syncing. VFS: unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)
Anyone else?
I installed Ubuntu Linux 20.04 a few weeks ago and successfully installed Parallels Tools. I dragged several folders and files from my Mac to the Ubuntu 20.04 desktop, so I know that used to work. Now I can't move anything into or out of my Ubuntu 20.04 VM.
At some point I updated my OS to OS...

I have just installed Parallels for Mac. I have Windows 11 and Ubuntu both working and am very happy with the whole set-up. However, I must be missing something. I have a separate Linux desktop with the same version of Ubuntu. On the desktop, there is a library/catalogue to install new...
1. Created ubuntu system using ZFS as filesystem (the ubuntu one - not the host Mac).
2. Started install of Parallels tools - wouldn't run

After I start the Linux VM on my Parallels Desktop, It is getting stuck while booting. It just stays on a black screen with a blinking cursor on top left corner. I did try through recovery mode as well but that couldn't help much.
Can someone provide the possible solutions to resolve it.
This only happens on the latest Ubuntu 22.04 VM and not on my old v20.04 one, that the UI gets messed --- please see attached, and it happens when I move the mouse over some of the elements like the buttons or drop-down box etc. This is with the latest Chrome browser Version 101.0.4951.64...
I just upgraded my Ubuntu 20.04 VM to v22.04, and notice that the VM losts network connection after the Mac host wakes up from sleep. The only way to bring it back is to reboot the VM. The problem does not repro with the original Ubuntu c20.04 VM. I have another Ubuntu 20.04 VM and it does not...
