how to deactivate my Parallel Desktop license key and transfer to my new Mac

    Parallels seems to be very selective in the messages they respond to...therefore let me restate my problem from a few days ago:

    To be clear, the machine with the primary key is not available anymore. When I tried to activate my copy of Parallels testing both keys, Parallels allowed me to use the second key (which was actively used on another machine) but not the primary key from the dead machine.
    I am asking Parallels to please de-activate both keys so we can re-assign them.

    I would also like to remind Parallels that I am eligible for email, chat, and phone support as a customer with an active license to Parallels Desktop:
    But those options are not given to me when I go through the support chain while trying to open a ticket.

    I did not receive a response from parallels but they did something to my keys and both of us can now work again. Thank you for the action...boo on you for the non-reaction.
    Also, this post is meant as encouragement for other users who have not received a response from Parallels. Keep checking, someone at Parallels might just have fixed your problem without telling you.

    Hello,

    A user of my old work laptop (MacBook) is unable to use Parallels Desktop due to my yearly subscription which has expired. Could you please deactivate/remove all keys linked to my account so they can purchase a new subscription? Reference number: 374589914
    It would be great if this could be done at the earliest.

    Hello Vibha,

    The license key linked to this transaction ID is not a subscription but rather a permanent license key.

    We have unlinked your computer from the license key and it can now be entered on a different computer if needed.

    Please confirm if you have any further inquiries

    Hello, I have parallels desktop 17, my last machine crashed and broke I installed parallels on my new Mac but it says the license has reached its activation limit. how can I address this, I do not want to upgrade just deactivate and reactivate on my new Mac
