I encountered this issue with Parallel Version 14.0.1 (45154) and OSX 10.13.6. My solution is to disable any power saving option in OSX and set parallels start/shutdown option to manually.
Hello, could you please share more details with us? What is your Parallels Desktop and macOS version?
I have installed kali linux on parallels, I have kept my kali for idle for some time and then it was suspended, later i tried to resume it and it is not taking any actions on the screen. I only option I have got to do is to force quite and again start the machine. I'm using Parallels Desktop 16 for Mac - Standard Edition and MacOS version is 10.15.6
