xP wont start in VM

XP screen shows 2 choices for parallels start up- but it just stops at that screen. Cant do a safe start either

i uninstalled and reinstalled P.
I restored from time machine


I tried also 5584.

Windows works fine from bootcamp

There is no .hdd file on my mac

i fixed the boot.ini problem with a backup but the problem remains

windows hangs and wont start in VM

i am using 5584 (but as i says the problem started before this upgrade)

i created a new user and the problem still exists
