Xbox Game Pass PC games do not install to M1 Mac

Hello All,
I have an M1 Mac mini with 16gb/512gb specs. Am running Parallels 17.0.1 and the preview build of Windows 11. I have the Xbox app installed, but when I try to download most game pass games I get a 0x00000001 error code. I'm sure that I could buy most of these games on Steam, but I'm wanting to take advantage of the Xbox service that I'm already subscribed to.
Does anyone have any suggestions for getting these games in run?

Thanks for replying. The knowledge base does have an article relating to this problem, but unfortunately it only says to contact Microsoft support.
 
Same here. The article your team posted does not help at all. I couldn't understand. Please fix this. I need to download some game from xbox app through PD. Basically, that's part of the reason I bought PD.
 
Microsoft Support tried to convince me it was due to the system requirements for games not being met.
However even games that said "this should work fine on your system" according to the Microsoft Store still won't install.
 
I got a little further in the problem for me---does everyone have an authentic "activation" in use? Not regarding the parallels version, but rather the key for Windows 10/11 or whatnot?
