    Hello Parallels Team,
I am experiencing an issue with the "Shared Applications" feature where files opened via WinSCP in the Windows 11 VM fail to load in the Mac's default editor (Sublime Text), even though the application itself launches successfully.
    The Bug:
When I open a file (.js, .txt, etc.) within WinSCP using the "Associated application" editor setting, Sublime Text 4 on my macOS host focuses/starts, but it opens an empty window or just the app interface without the actual file content.
    • Note: Opening the same files directly from Windows File Explorer works perfectly -- the file opens in Sublime Text on Mac with all content visible.
    • Regression: This setup worked flawlessly for a long time. The issue appeared within the last month after recent updates.
    Environment:
    • Parallels Desktop: 26.3.1 (57396)
    • Host: MBP Apple M1 Max (macOS 26.4.1 / 25E253)
    • Guest: Windows 11 Pro (Build 26200.8246, Version 25H2)
    • Parallels Tools: 26.3.1.57396 (Installed on 2026.04.19)
    • WinSCP Version: 6.5.6
    • Sublime Text (Mac): Build 4200
    WinSCP Configuration:
    • Editor preference: "Associated application" (System default)
    • Editor autoselection: *.*
    • External editor options: "External editor opens each file in separate window" is checked.
    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Set Sublime Text as the default handler for .txt/.js files on macOS and ensure "Share Mac applications with Windows" is enabled.
    2. In WinSCP (Windows VM), double-click a file to edit.
    3. WinSCP downloads the file to a temp folder and calls the system default editor.
    4. Sublime Text on Mac opens, but remains empty.
It seems like the path to the temporary file created by WinSCP is not being passed correctly to the macOS side through the Parallels Shared Application agent.
Could you please investigate if there were recent changes in how com.parallels.SharedAppLink.Agent handles temporary paths or long file strings?
    Thank you!
