Windows has reached the end of service

I'm running Parallels Desktop for Mac App Store Edition Version 1.10.1 (23895) on my MacBook Air, M3, 2024, with Sequoia 15.2 (24C101). My version of Windows is Windows 11 Home, Version 10.0.22621.

When I run Windows Update, I receive the message "Your version of Windows has reached the end of service." Clicking the update button results in the same message reappearing.

Update history shows the last successful update was 2024-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for arm64-based Systems (KB5044285) on 11/9/24.

How can I update to the latest version of Windows that has not "reached the end of service"?

Same problem with me. My last update is 22H2 and couople of weeks I received the message "Your version of Windows has reached the end of service." Clicking the update button results in the same message reappearing.
Is there any way to update Windows 11 to actual verison and stop receiving that message ?
 
Go to Microsoft and download the ARM ISO file. Copy the ISO to a USB drive, plug the USB drive into your computer. Select the USB drive and click on the ISO file. You will get a prompt to mount the ISO. You should monut the ISO as a virtual CD drive. Go to that drive (probably drive D: or E:), click on setup, select run as administrator and do an upgrade.
 
I have the same issue with the same updates as Misk. I tried to update it manually by downloading an update .iso from Microsoft for ARM. The setup failed so I'm still stuck in the same situation.
 
I'm seeing this same error. I did a quick online search and it sounds. like there is either Windows 11 23H2 or 24H2 out, but not available for us on Parallels? Can anyone confirm that? Has anyone messaged directly with Support on it?
 
If anyone tried to write to support about this problem ?
Today i received last update of parallels but issue is the same.
 
good news: stuck on win 11 22h2 - after some searching in several places, including here in the forum, I found this and was able to solve the problem with it: #2
 
I did a Chat with support that walked me through basically what LeRoi posted though slightly different in that I didn't need a physical USB drive for it (I have plenty of disk space on my Mac).
Before getting started with installation, in Windows 11 go to the menu and select Actions - Take Snapshot... so you can roll back in case anything goes wrong.
The following downloads the ISO using your Mac browser into the Downloads folder. Alternatively, you could download directly into the virtual machine Windows and skip the DVD mounting, but if you're like me you allocated limited disk space to the Windows virtual machine so I used my Mac for the download as described below.
Download the latest Windows 11 for ARM (Apple Silicon Macs) here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11arm64 (or for Apple Intel Macs you go to https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11)
That should go into your Downloads folder on your Mac. Click on the Parallels icon in the Mac menu (looks like a laptop computer screen with 2 white windows in it) and with your current Windows 11 active (not sleeping) go to Devices > CD/DVD > Connect image... and select the ISO image you downloaded (most likely in your Downloads folder so navigate to that and click on Open).
Then in Windows 11, use File Explorer and click on This PC in the left section (you may need to scroll down to see it) and you should see DVD Drive (D:) with an unusual name that doesn't say it's 22H2 but it is.
Double click on the "setup" application you should see in File Explorer. That will then walk you through the installation which takes a while. At one point it was stuck on some percentage, but just wait as it does get through.
After this is all done, you can verify your Windows 11 version in System > About > "Version" that should now say 24H2.
You can also Check for updates and see that it no longer says end of service and you may get a 2024-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 and a 2024-11 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework...
 
I forgot to add that after the install you can go to Devices > CD/DVD > Disconnect and after a week or so of running Parallels Windows OK you can delete your snapshot in Actions - Manage Snapshots... then click on the snapshot and then click on the Delete button.
As for the ISO image, you can either save that in case you need to reinstall or you can delete it to save about 5.5 GB of disk space as you can easily download it again if needed.
 
Downloaded the ISO but when I run Setup there is an error message autorun.dll could not be loaded or is corrupt. Error code [0x7E]
Any ideas?
