Windows Excel Shortcuts on Macbook

Hello!
I'm thinking about getting parallels to have the proper MS Excel experience including the shortcuts on my Macbook.

I understand that I can remap shortcuts and can custom design shortcuts using parallels advanced settings. However, I'm wondering whether I can also just get a windows keyboard, connect that keyboard to my Mac, and all shortcuts that I'm used to when working in MS Excel on windows will just work perfectly?

Any clarifications would be much appreciated!

To provide some more color:
- If I press the alt key on my external windows keyboard, will that allow me to access the ribbon in excel? If I do Ctrl-C, will it work?
- Also, if I just use the apple keyboard, can I program it so that pressing one key (e.g. the option key) works like the alt key in windows?
 
Hello @JaR1, We would like to inform you that the Keyboard shortcuts are different for the MS Excel ribbon on both Windows OS and Mac OS. Please refer to this MS article for more information about the MS Excel ribbon key shortcuts.
