Windows 8 Stuck at "Please Wait" Screen

Hello,
I am running Windows 8 on Parallels 14 on Mojave 10.14.4, when I attempt to start Windows I get stuck on the "Please Wait" screen, when I try to reset/stop/suspend Parallels I get a message telling me that Windows is "installing updates" but the screen never changes. Are there any fixes for this that don't involve me deleting Windows and re-installing it?
 
Scratch that, now I get a strange gray screen after startup with a windows logo at the bottom left (doesn't work) and whenever I click anything I get error messages about the username being incorrect
