Hi folks,
I updated to PD8 a few days ago and I'm running Win7 Enterprise and Win8 Enterprise (RTM) both as virtual machines on my MBP. VMs are running in Fullscreen mode, performance is fine and everything seems OK, except that weird behavior of the CMD-TAB taskwsitcher in Windows 8.
What happens?
I'm using the CMD-TAB frequently to switch forth and back between MAC and WIN apps. Until Win8 came along this along this allowed me to consistently switch between two apps.
This does not work for Win8 anymore. It works like that (i.e. I have Safari open on Mac and MS Powerpnt in Win8):
CMD-TAB takes me to Safari in Mac
CMD-TAB (again) takes me to Powerpnt in Win8
CMD-TAB (again) takes me to Safari in Mac
CMD-TAB (again) takes me to Windows 8 Startscreen
CMD-TAB (again) takes me to Safari in Mac
CMD-TAB (again) takes me to Powerpnt in Win8
CMD-TAB (again) takes me to Safari in Mac
... and so on
this is driving me nuts as I have to CMD-TAB 3-times now to get back to the last active Win-app. In my Win7 machine everything works still as usual.
What's going wrong here?
Thanks for any hints
Regards
Udo
