Windows 8 / PD 9 - it takes minutes to cmplete system start after login

Hi,

since I´ve once changed the NIC configuration, it takes minutes to complete the startup of the machine after I´ve typed my login credentials. I get the startup screen immediately, but it takes minutes, before I can start a program. I´ve went back to the original NIC (standard adapter - bridged) configuration, but nothing changes.

Any ideas?

Please follow the steps as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/115645 and we recommend you to change the CPU to '2'.

no success. I think the document describes general options to improve performance. In this case it looks like windows has some problems with the network connection after I´ve changed the configuration.
