Windows 10 Movies and TV App Broken Again 0x800700c1

So for a while, the ARM64 Windows 10 Movies and TV application worked on my M1 Macbook Pro. Unfortunately, all I get now is 'can't play' with error 0x800700c1. Tried all the usual options such as repair, reset, reinstall/install, re-registering with Powershell and even system restore but nothing works. Anybody have a workaround?

I'm having the same issue, have you found any solutions as I can't seem to find a way to fix this! Like you say it was working and then suddenly stopped.

Thanks, appreciate you sending the tech report. Windows 11 works great outside the video issues. Hopefully there is a resolution soon.

Is anyone who can start Powerdvd21 on Windows11 guest OS ?

Movies and TV is still broken on Windows 11 and Windows 10 VMs on my M1 iMac. I hope the Parallels team can find a fix as it's driving me nuts as I bought a TV series that doesn't support MoviesAnywhere :( It was a steal of a deal though. 4 seasons of Black Sails for $19 Like Heck Yeah

Bumping this old post but good news. I upgraded to the preview version of Windows 11 22H2 (22622.436) and was suddenly able to play all my purchased movies and tv shows.

Still happening with Windows 11, Parallels 19. Has anyone found a solution or has the Parallels team issued a fix that anyone has been able to use
