My x86 VM was showing the same expired error but it upgraded just fine.

BTW, on that VM, the shared folders option is disabled. No wonder.

I am happy to report that disabling shared folders worked for me too. Too bad I had already created a new VM and migrated everything over.

After several failed attempts, I changed memory settings to 4096 and disabled all mac/windows shares, and the upgrade worked!

Disable Sharing in the virtual machine (Options > Sharing, Share Mac and Share Windows), shutdown, start Windows back up and check for updates.

Once I did this I was able to complete installation of the updates, the end of service message disappeared, and more updates became available. I installed them, then Parallels automatically updated its driver.

I haven't tried re-enabling sharing yet, but all error messages are gone and all updates installed.

Problem solved! Yes, Disable Sharing in the virtual machine, then restart Windows, then check for updates, when finished the update, Enable sharing again, all will come back to normal, thanks.

I just installed Insider Preview 21382.1 no problem by isolating the VM from the Mac M1.

Haben Sie denn nach dem Update die VM und den Mac M1 wieder problemlos verbinden können, also die Isolierung rückgängig machen können?

You need to shutdown the VM to make the change. First shutdown Windows and then quit the VM window. Then change memory.

Danke für Antwort und Tipp. Leider nur geringer Erfolg. Speicher konnte auf 4096 MB geändert werden. Dann jeweils nach Neustart mit Einstellungen 1.) + 2.) versucht Update zu installieren. Kein Glück, bei 20% wird, wie zuvor schon, immer wieder abgebrochen. Security- und ein Treiberupdate "Realtek-Net-10.45.308.2021 wurden jedoch installiert. Ich bin auch der Auffassung, dass zur Problembeseitigung schnellstens ein Update von Parallels kommen sollte/muss. Was könnte ich denn sonst noch falsch gemacht haben?

Keine Chance auf ein erfolgreiches Update.:verrückt: Immer wieder mit den Deaktivierungen/4096MB versucht und auch mit Zurücksetzung auf einen früheren Snapshot, Update wird nicht installiert, 20% Ende. Liegt es doch eventuell daran, dass die Windows-Version nicht aktiviert ist oder dass ich mit meinem Microsoft Konto der Home-Version angemeldet bin? Hat einer eine Idee, wie ich doch noch das Update installieren kann?? Für Vorschläge wäre ich sehr dankbar

Bei mir hat es geklappt nur die kompletten Sharing Optionen in Parallels aus zu schalten. Speicher ist weiter 12 GB...

Where can I find "Sharing in the virtual machine option". Is it in the installed Windows? It would be kind of you, if you could explain the settings to disable. If possible do mail to me. [email protected]
