Win 11 24H2 and 25H2 both bombing in Parallels 26

Bit poster
Bombs and restarts a few times per day. Caught a slight glimpse of the quick blue screen,something like "thread exception not handled", then goes blue, to repair screen, and reboot. Happened in 24H2, so I upgraded to 25H2. Same problem.

I use Norton 360 as well. I worked around the issue by installing the previous version of Parallels (v. 20), but I won't be able to update macOS. Does anyone know if a fix will be provided for this incompatibility between Parallels v. 26 and Norton 360?
 
My problem with 25H2 seems to be sorted out now. Don't know what I did to get it working again, but it's working.
 
Are u sure it's resolved? Coz me running Parallels 26.1.1 got 3 BSODs in 3 minutes. Then it may work for hours, sometimes days, but then suddenly BSOD. I tested memory for errors with Windows standard memory check tool from control panel, it gives 0 errors. But BSOD says(minidump opened in WinDbg): "
Probably caused by : hardware_ram ( PAGE_NOT_ZERO )

But I never had these before upgrading to Parallels 26.0. Changelog says they fixed something about Norton 360, but I don't have it. I have Crowdstrike and Symantec Endpoint Protection installed. I cannot uninstall these, coz it's not my personal PC. I recently upgraded to Windows 11 25H2 (coz 24H2 upgrade via Windows Update failed with the same BSOD...). On Windows 10 there were less BSOD like this, but I think I got some. How to fix?
 
my BSOD error is :
CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION 0x109
(every time same error)
btw host OS now is macOS 15.7.1 works super stable, not a single crash in years of use. hardware is mac Mini 2018 (Intel based)

Hi, I'm not having any BSOD problems. I have two Windows 25H2 VM's - one for games and one for productivity. Both are working fine with no BSOD's. I'm not sure what your problem is. My issue was caused by the installation of Parallels Tools AFTER the update to 25H2, not the actual install of 25H2 itself. That was working. My problem happened only on one of the VM's and it happened only after I tried to install Parallels Tools after the 25H2 installed. I hope you get your issue resolved.
 
...after using it for a while I doesn't BSOD any more (for now). When it failed with BSOD yesterday for first time I wasn't even using it - maybe some background process caused BSOD, I checked Event Logs, and not sure but maybe it's a Symantec Endpoint Protection (installed inside VM) weekly scan which caused system crash after it started. Are we need additional fix for it like for Norton 360 or it's a different problem?
 
Worked for 7 days then BSOD again(same error code as before). Yesterday's Symantec Endpoint Protection scan shows succeeded, so there may be something else. Minidump says memory corruption, but I think it's not hardware problem but software bug inside VM or Parallels bug, coz host doesn't show any stability problems. Going to send technical report when BSOD will happen again.
 
The same issue also occurs in Windows 10. From my observation, it is most likely caused by a blue screen when the memory is nearly insufficient, which seriously impacts my work!

Luckily, I use the VM very little, but when I do, it always causes an unexpected reboot.

I keep getting "CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION" even on Windows 10 22H2. The host is a Mac Mini 2018.

The crowd struck hard last year, but companies don't ever seem to learn. :rolleyes: Same goes for Norton 360 and any other stuff like that, whose only purpose is to take your money and slow down your system. Anyway, I'm not using any of this crap and still get the BSODs, so that's not what's causing it. Most likely it's a bug in the hypervisor's memory management.

It usually doesn't BSOD when SEP weekly scan if I close all apps, but next day it was Windows update and reboot pending. I had no chance to reboot, but after using PC for a while got BSOD suddenly. So it likes to BSOD when SEP scan and using PC simultaneously or when Windows Update doing something in background - in other cases there are almost no BSOD. But sometimes getting BSOD even not touching PC - in this case if I open MS Edge with 4-5 tabs open - BSOD can appear more likely. I mean if free RAM is not enough and Windows uses a lot of swap file it seems there more chance to get BSOD; but it's completely random...

Unfortunately that's not my PC, and I must use security tools by policy. I cannot even change settings and cannot uninstall them, so not a solution.
