Will my Parallels Desktop 9 still work if I go from OSX10.6.8 up to 10.11.6 ?

I love my old programs I learned way back on Windows XP and want to keep using them. PD9 was running well on my OSX10.6.8. Now I am wondering what will happen if I migrate my Time machine backup to a OSX10.11.6 system. Will it still run OK?

Hi, unfortunately Parallels Desktop 9 doesn't compatible with macOS 10.11
