Why no support for virtual nVME hard disk?

In converting from VMware to Parallels my Windows system won't convert - VMware says the virtual HD is nVME - Parallels does not know about that. The only thing I have been able to do is reinstall Vware and configure the HD to SATA. Unfortunately VMware seems to like nVME - its the default for Windows.
Come on Parallels - get your act together.
