The way it has worked so far is that I would fire up a VPN in the Mac interface and then, for reasons beyond my control, connect via RDP to an external computer via VPN. RDP worked in both the Mac and Windows interfaces.
I recently did a Parallels update and when I enable VPN on Mac, Windows disconnects the internet, no matter what arapther I choose. It doesn't help to reinstall Windows network card drivers, reboot, change adapters on Mac, etc.
I have no idea where the problem is anymore.
