I have a Virtual Machine running Windows 10 which stops responding after I let it sit in the background for 15-45min. It goes on to use 100-200% of my Mac CPU. The increased fan spin makes me aware it happened again. Sometimes this can be resolved when pausing the VM and resuming it again. Most of the time a forced restart is necessary.
I filed several bug reports to parallels but I never got any feedback and the issue still exists up until today. Maybe someone as the same issue and knows a fix.
What I'm using:
Parallels Desktop Version 16.1.2 (49151)
Windows 10 20H2 (running Visual Studio most of the time)
macOS 10.15.7 (19H114)
MacBook Pro 16,1 (16 inch 2019, 2.4GHz i9, AMD 5500M, 64Gb RAM)
