The VIdeo Downloader component of Toolbox stopped working several weeks ago i.e. in July 2024 I've been waiting for someone a Parallels to fix this (it must, surely, be a known issue by now) but that hasn't happened.
1. Initiate a download. (Problem occurs whether initiating directly from 'DownloadVideo' or from within Safari. Downloads attempted are mostly from YT).
2. The download commences with the usual visual cues (notification, progress bar...)
3. At a certain point, the in-flight download stops, as per the progress bar. Usually at around 80% complete.
4. After a somewhat lengthy delay (haven't timed it but I think it's in minutes), one of three error msgs appear:
* 'Video download failed. An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the Server cannot be made' [happens even w YT videos]
* 'Video download failed [long string of numbers] couldn't be moved to T'
* 'Video download failed. Could not connect to the Server'. [even when Server = YT]
Anyone else experiencing this? No changes to System that I'm aware of. Mostly initialise downloads directly from 'DownloadVideo'.
