video download stopped working after Aug 11, 2026

The video download from Parallel Tools has stopped working, it starts to download and then after a few MBytes, it stops and hangs. Tools Version 7.1.0 (5405). I have tried it with you tube.com and other sites. Anyone else have this issue? Also I tested it with an older version of the tools an another macbook failed. i Am running Macbook Pro with macOS Tahoe V26.5.2
 
I’m experiencing the same issue. The video download starts normally, but after downloading a few MB, the progress stops and the download hangs indefinitely. I tested it on YouTube as well as several other websites, so it doesn’t seem to be limited to one particular site.

I’m using Parallels Tools 7.1.0 (5405) on a MacBook Pro running macOS Tahoe 26.5.2. I also tested an older version of Parallels Tools on another MacBook, but the same problem occurred there as well.

This looks like it could be a bug with the video download feature rather than a local installation issue. Hopefully someone from Parallels can confirm whether this is a known problem and whether there is a workaround or upcoming fix.
 
Same here. Audio download just sits at 0kb and eventually just crashes.

Any Youtube video I try to download or the audio of the youtube videos, every one fails.
 
Same here and similar equipment: Parallels Tools 7.1.0 (5405) on a MacBook Pro running macOS Tahoe 26.6.2. The 0kb stall and then a crash after about 10 minutes.
 
Same issues here. Both Download Video and Download Audio. Glad to know it's not just me at least.
 
"Download Video" continues to be hit or miss for me, mostly miss. Its the single reason I pay for Parallels Toolbox, so its pretty important to me. I'd really appreciate some feedback from the Toolbox team that they are aware of it and prioritizing a fix.
