I've noticed this initially a couple of weeks ago when I installed viber via a snap. When I started it, the whole ubuntu desktop crashed. I then installed viber via the deb and it works fine.
The other day I tried installing hiri via snap and same, desktop crashes when I start it. In fact it starts with a sort of white window. When I try to close the window, the whole desktop crashes.
Both snaps install fine on my normal ubuntu desktop (my PC, not emulated via parallels).
What could be wrong?
