Use Start button icon in Coherence doesn't work

Hi
In PD8 I dont like the icon in the menu bar and prefer to click on the PD icon in the dock to get access to a Windows start menu. Clicking the option "Use Start button icon in Coherence" simply doesn't work. I have tried it off and on, rebooted everything. Nothing works. It always remains in the menu bar.

Arghhh. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

Windows Start menu icon in the Dock is available in Coherence mode without Crystal option. You can turn it off in the Coherence section of the VM configuration. Click Virtual Machine menu and select Configure... option. Then select Options pane and click Coherence. Unselect Use Crystal mode option.

Also, you can use Start Menu directly from the Dock in Crystal mode by following trick. Just pin Parallels Desktop to the Dock. The icon will be PD but it will open the Windows Start Menu by clicking on it.
