I have tried with 2 USB wifi adapters connected to differents Linux VMs acting as a hotspot so my Xbox and Other devices can connect to the Internet but the speeds are pretty low: 4Mbps download, 1Mbps upload.
While I get inside the VM 80Mbps Download and 70Mbps Upload speeds,
when I connect the USB adapter, and then I proceed to activate in e.g. Ubuntu the hotspot feature,
I am getting extremely low internet speeds.
The VM machine is connected wirelessly to Internet, and then it "shares" that internet connection via the USB adapter.
It seems to me that passing data to/from the virtual ethernet endpoint and the USB adapter is not optimal.
