We are currently testing the upgrade and fresh installation process on a Windows 11 virtual machine.

In the v21 series (latest version: 21.1.26691), the following behavior has been identified:
    • Upgrade from N-1 (21.1.26688) to 21.1.26691 - Fails
    • Upgrade from N-2 (21.1.26548) to 21.1.26691 - Succeeds
    • Fresh installation of 21.1.26691 - Succeeds
    Additionally, upgrading N-1 (21.1.26688) from N-2 (21.1.26548) completes successfully.

All the above scenarios were tested via both UI and system context.

During the upgrade process, the operation is rolled back, and the following prompt is displayed:[IMG]

The same issue occurs on a 32-bit OS as well.

Logs have been attached for reference.

    To resolve the issue quickly:

    • Enable vTPM and Secure Boot: Ensure your Windows 11 virtual machine configuration has Trusted Platform Module (vTPM) and Secure Boot enabled in your hypervisor settings (Hyper-V, VMware, or VirtualBox).

    • Clear Temporary Setup Files: Purge the software cache directory and re-download the clean installer payload.

    • Run as Administrator: Execute the upgrade installer manually from an elevated command prompt.
