Hi team - updated and now my windows 8.1 won't start - just says starting. There is also some kind of message on the start screen but I can't make it larger or get it to view? Any ideas ?

Since installing Update 14.1.13 (45485) tonight, Microsoft Security Essentials virus scanning locks up on Windows XP after the service stops with an error AND also while scanning Windows 7 VMs (Win7 VMs can recover).

[UPDATE: Solved by installing today's new virus definitions.]

I have looked for an actions menu and for reset but not seeing any menu with that name - can you advise further where this might be located.

Ive looked in Preferences - configurations etc

Thanks - the graphic helped and I found this menu are closing windows - restarted and all 100%
