Unable to resize hard disk

I would like to resize the hard disk, but I cannot because Parallels says it has snapshots. However when I go to snapshots management it says there are none (which is true). I'm stuck... :-(((

please try to perform the following steps:
Open Terminal application (Finder -> Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal)
On the terminal window please type the following command
prl_disk_tool resize --hdd [Name.hdd] --size 192G --resize_partition
Instead of the [Name.hdd] please drag and drop the .hdd file from the Virtual machine .pvm bundle to the Terminal window.

Please check the example of the Terminal output below:

prl_disk_tool resize --hdd /Users/parallels/Documents/Parallels/IE\ 11\ in\ Windows\ 7.pvm/IE11\ -\ Win7.hdd --size 136G --resize_partition

3. After the previous steps please hit Enter and check the issue.

I've had a very similar experience. I removed all the snapshots but couldn't resize.
I then ran a "prl_disk_tool resize" command and it finished quickly reporting 100%.
Now, even though the parallels hardware disk manager reports 192Gb, after booting the VM (Windows 10) it still only shows the original 64Gb.
Now I've been through this exercise, I can now use the slider in the hardware disk manager to change again, but it still only reports 64Gb in the booted VM.

Any hints?
