Unable to install driver for system sound in Record Screen

Looks like this...see attached photo.
OK...so it seems that if I uncheck 'Mute' then the audio is captured when I record screen. Makes sense! Is that all?
I seem to remember previously being able to capture the audio when recording the screen without it being audible to me during the recording. This would be optimal, so I can make my recordings while doing other things. Please let me know if there is an option for this. Thx!

Yes, that's it.

Screen recording tools from Parallels Toolbox allow to use four different audio options:
- No audio - only screen will be recorded, no sound;
- Microphone - sound only from your microphone will be recorded and added to video;
- Computer - only computer sound will be recorded. You can talk anything and this will not be on recorded video. I think it is the best option in your case;
- Computer + Microphone - both computer sound and sound from microphone will be recorded. This option is useful to record web meetings where your both talk and listen;

Hello,

could you please attach screenshot?

To correctly reinstall driver you have to:
- Go to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL/ folder and remove ParallelsToolboxAudio.driver folder. You should have admin rights to do it.
- Restart your Mac
- Launch Record Screen (or Record Area, Record Window) tool and choose 'Computer' value for 'Record audio from' option
- Tools will ask you to install the driver and restart Mac again
- Restart your Mac

Did it help?
worked for me, thanks
