TurboTax Business 2013 not installing

I am not able to install TurboTax Business 2013 (only available for Windows) or TurboTax Deluxe 2013. Running Coherence mode, Parallels 9 and Windows 8.1. Get the following message:

"Sorry but TurboTax can only be installed if the software is located on a local drive. Please copy the software to a local drive to install."

One suggestion I found via internet search was to create a folder on the desktop, copy all files and folders from DVD (via external USB connected SuperDrive) to this folder. Then I clicked on install.exe but get the same error message.

Using iMac, i7.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help. That worked. I also found that just copying the CD/DVD´s files and folders to the desktop didn´t work until I actually copied the files and folders to the "Desktop" in "Local Disk (C)" > "Users" > "my name" > "Desktop" (where "my name" is my folder in Users"). Evidently, Windows did not refer to the "Desktop" under "This PC" as the correct place or correct local drive.

When the folder and files were in the Users Desktop location, all I had to do was click on the "install.exe" file, and TT Business installed fine in the "Program Files" folder.
