I suppose I need to have my 'activation' counter reset or some such thing.
This license has reached its activation limit and can no longer be used to activate new product copies.

Hi. I have received the same 'activation limit' error trying to install Desktop 17 on a new MacBook Pro Silicon. I thought I had removed the previous installation from all previous machines, but it seems not. Can someone assist please? I just need the counter reset if that is possible. Thanks. G
