Struggling to make - Key Tips for Excel work

If I press the option key when using excel - nothing happens. Does anyone know how to make this work please when using excel 365 on my parallel's VM?

Hi Paul Chris,
I'm not sure where you mean. Is this in the Parallels' preferences, or something in Windows or on the mac as not sure where to find.

HelloDominic4, Kindly go the top left corner and click on the Apple symbol--> System preferences--> Mission control--> keyboard and mouse shortcuts.
 
Thanks - I've got there - but not sure what you mean by check the corresponding mission control shortcut - sorry being a bit slow here?
I have options to rearrange spaces, etc. but nothing that seems to relate to trying to make alt do the key tips
