Hi Userforum,

I have the strange problem that Parallels does not start any more from my MacMini M4. When I want to start Parallels, theres the little Window opeining saying "Start" and 3 dots and then nothing happens. I use the latest parallels version. Any suggestions? Kind regards, Daniel

I have finally ended up 3 hrs using ChatGPT and solving for it (which worked.) What worked for me:
• I've removed all legacy files
• Saved the one working .pvm file locally
• Remounted everything cleanly
• And deleted all zombie entries

This usually happens when Parallels services don't start correctly after a macOS update. Try quitting all Parallels processes from Activity Monitor, restart your Mac, and relaunch Parallels.
If it still hangs, reinstall the latest version -- your VMs will stay safe.
