standard licence on business app

Hello, I started a business trial and spawn up a VM - very great !
I was considering buying a standard edition licence as I dont need all the tools other licences provide.
So I have 2 questions:
If I buy a standard licence, can I keep using the same business edition app (knowing that some features may be disabled) and will the previous VM work? Or do I need to uninstall and reinstall standard edition?

Hello, you can purchase the Parallels Desktop for Mac Standard license key and activate the Parallels Desktop using the license. Thanks.
 
anyone able to help here? My main concern is that I have install business edition, and have a VM setup which I do not want to loose if I have to re-install standard edition.
