ssh from host VM to remote VM

I can ssh (using Terminal) from one VM to the other VM (both on the same machine) but I cannot do the reverse.

Every time I try I get, "connection refused".

Is this supposed to work?

Both VM's are running Mavericks. I'm using Parallels 9.

Hi Herfules,

Please change the Network mode of the VM to Bridged (Default).
Go to VM Configure ( http://kb.parallels.com/117287 ) -> Hardware -> Network 1 -> Change Type to "Bridged (Default Adapter)".

Hi,
I made a mistake in my original post.

I have Parallels running on a Mac and I have one VM on this Mac. So the VM can ssh to the Mac, but the Mac cannot ssh into the VM.

And the VM is configured as "Bridged (Default Adapter)".

OK I figured it out. I had to turn on Remote Login with Mavericks. My bad.
