Sluggish system after updating from v13 to v14

Hello,
Ever since I updated my Parallels Desktop from version 13 to 14, the hole system seems to be slower, even freezing for multiple seconds (from 10s to 20s) when working with spreadsheets (excel) and querying database (SQL Operations Studio). What could I do to discover the reason for this slow downs?
