Sections disappear on certain apps

Some apps are rendered basically unusable by flickering (more accurately just disappearing) when I move the mouse over certain portions of the screen. Specifically I'm running into this using PowerBI desktop. When I hover over a chart or datasets, the areas under the cursor disappear. This is on a 2016 MBP 15 w/ TB. Steps I've already tried:
  • Uninstalling/reinstalling the app
  • Upping the Video mem to 1GB
  • Disabling 3D Acceleration or using DX9 (these not only don't fix the issue but slow down the VM to unusable levels)
  • Adding the flag video.hw_pointer=0 to boot flags
  • Re-installing Parallels Tools
  • Different resolutions
And the problem remains. Firefox experiences some different anomalies where everything will appear as if highlighted even if I haven't done anything, and will also have sections disappear when hovered over.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
