Scroll problem in Windows

Hi everyone,
I am using Parallels 26 (trial), Windows 25H2 (trial) and MacOS Sequoia 15.4 (Macbook air M4)
I really like Parallels but there is one thing really annoying and make it uselles that is glitch during scrolling
Firstly, I read many other threads and I see there is a scrolling issue in Parallel 20 and windows 24H2 which problem is not similar mine. I tried reinstalling Parallels tool and mouse driver (which is suggested), none of them worked. My problem mostly scrolling delta has glitched. Let me clarify the problem;
- When I am in windows file explorer and use mouse (Master mx 2), I need to scroll wheel 5 times to scroll one line (I also played with one line or multi line scrolling in windows mouse settings but it didn't help since my problem is not about scroll speed but system doesnt detect my scroll command). Same problem is exist in the touchpad. I need to scroll more to activate scrolling. For example if I scroll +- 1mm in Mac application, any application react this movement and scroll a bit but in windows, I need to scroll at least 3-4mm to get scrolling. It is very obvious in file explorer and using mouse. 5 times I need to move the wheel to get scrolling
- Edge or chrome is also same. Scrolling seems laggy. When I scroll the touchpad using two finger, it doesn't detect until scroll more
- All other application has same effect but mostly windows programs suffer
I also tried the application at https://forum.parallels.com/threads/excessive-mouse-wheel-acceleration-in-parallels.337709/ . I see that windows doesn't detect my scrolling even in touchpad and mouse or when it detects, values are jumping too high or too low so it explains why it is laggy
I hope there is a solution for it, otherwise I can't use it

Hello @VolkanC3,
We have created a ticket #55***19 to investigate further.
You may check your email shortly for more details.
Thank you!

Is this ticket still open? @Adarsh Jeetun

The issue is still there in the latest version (27.0.1), and it's due to the fact that Parallels Desktop gets overwhelmed when the mouse has a high refresh rate. Most low end wired mice, and Bluetooth mice have a 125 Hz reporting rate. But gaming or high performance mice, like my Logitech G309, goes to 1000 Hz. And at this point, basically, Parallels ignores most of the events.

In order to reproduce, connect a mouse that has a high reporting rate, and configure it that way via Logitech G HUB for example. In my case (M4 Pro), the problem with Parallels is fairly visible at 500 Hz already, and somewhat at 250 Hz. Just use any OS in Parallels, and try to scroll at the same time you are moving the mouse quickly: the scroll events are ignored. Stop moving the mouse and scroll: it works every time.

You can also set the "Optimize for games" mode in Parallels, and you'll see that the mouse is super slow at a high reporting rate. The cause is the same: Parallels only processes ~125 events a second, and therefore 7/8 of the events are being dropped, making the mouse move slowly.

This bug has been there FOREVER. Same with the keyboard bug (where, if "key repeat" is enabled in macOS keyboard settings, pressing a key in Parallels for just enough time to trigger the repeat feature from macOS, Parallels will report the key to the guest as up/down many times instead of held down, which render unplayable any video game where you need to hold keys, such as a platformer). Parallels probably has fired 98% of its dev team, and is just trying to milk the poor people who have to use Windows/Linux on their Mac. Thankfully VMWare Fusion, free, is starting to become very much on par to Parallels. A couple years perhaps and we won't need to pay that enormous subscription for a product that basically is not even maintained.
