Running Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac VM with Windows from a SD Card

Hello everyone :
I'm using Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac latest version ( 10.2.2 (29105) ) into a MacBook Air with Yosemite 10.10.4.
If I copy an existing Parallels VM running Windows 10 from my Mac`s SSD to a MicroSDHC card , Parallels is unable to start the VM from the SD Card, it hangs when trying to load Windows , showing only that it's trying to boot from SATA Drive 1..... ( screenshot attached ).
It happens also with another VM running Windows 8.1.
Is there something that I have to change into the VM configuration to allow the VM to run from the micro SD card ?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated !
Thanks and best regards,:)

Hi Rafa,
Please review the type of drives that will show the best performance (in decreasing order) :
  • Flash Drive on Thunderbolt
  • Flash Drive on USB 3.0
  • Flash Drive on USB 2.0
  • Rotational Drive on Thunderbolt
  • Rotational Drive on USB 3.0
  • Rotational Drive on USB 2.0
To proceed and transfer an existing virtual machine to appropriate location on the external volume, please refer to http://kb.parallels.com/122874

Hello :
Thanks for your reply. In fact , I've reviewed the USB characteristics of my Macbook Air and it has an USB 3.0 hub, which is used for the SDHC card slot. I followed the steps mentioned in the KB that you pointed out, with same results, Parallels hangs on the same screen that I attached on my previous message.
Do I have to edit something in the VM configuration to allow Windows to start ? Any ideas ?
Thanks and best regards.

Hello :
The microSDHC card is using MacOsPlus format , I used Yosemite`s disk utility to format the card.
Thanks and look forward for your response,
Regards,
