Running/importing/converting a Hyper-V VM

Hello,
I purchased Parallels 17 Desktop Business because I need to run a VM created with Hyper-V. I thought it would be possible to convert it to a Parallels VM (following the steps explained here: https://kb.parallels.com/en/124491), but the Open dialog will not let me select the Hyper-V virtual hard disk (.vhdx).
Are there other ways to to import, convert, or run directly a Hyper-V VM?
Or do I have to create a Win10 VM and then run the Hyper-V VM inside that one? I 'd really like to avoid running a VM inside a VM, though.

Any help appreciated.

Hello,
thanks for your reply, but I actually do NOT want to run nested virtualization. Instead I'd rather like to convert the Hyper-V VM into a Parallels VM - is this possible, or am I misunderstanding something completely?

What do you mean with "There is no such thing as Hyper-V VM"? I got a couple of files labeled "Virtual Machines" (*.vmrs, *.vmgs, *.vmcx) and "Virtual Hard Disks" (*.vhdx) - what is this if not a VM?
How can I run this whatever-its-called on my Mac?

This does not relate to my question. Please read my question and don't just paste links to KB articles with similar keywords.
