Hey guys i just ordered a Retina Mac Book Pro 13 with a copy of Parallels 9. I'm hoping i don't have the same issues i'm having with my windows pc.
I have a Windows Ultrabook with a high resolution screen (2560x1440). I tried to run Lubuntu (LXDE) with VMWare workstation 10 (yes i had the tools installed in linux) and everything was so small it was almost unusable. I don't like to run with the heavy windows managers in linux (KDE, Gnome, or Unity (which i really hate)). I really don't know if it was windows , VMWare, or Linux/LXDEs fault.
Again i'm hoping with Parallels 9 + Lubuntu i don't run into the same issues. Can anyone offer me some reassurance before i get the machine
