[resolved] Game controllers not working on macOS Sequoia 15.4

A workaround that works for me using Steam:
- If it's a non-Steam game, add the executable to your Steam Library in Windows
- Start Steam in the Windows VM
- Start Steam for MacOS
- Select the Game you want to play in your Library, and choose "Stream" in Steam for MacOS
-> Steam will stream the game from the VM to MacOS including controller support
Tested with Mirror's Edge bought through GOG.

On 20.3.0, this still isn't working right with an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. I bought Parallels to use the Xbox Accessories app, which is how you remap the extra paddle buttons on that controller.

Parallels seems to be "emulating" the controller, whether plugged in or Bluetooth, as "Virtual Xbox Controller" if it's connected to the Mac, and "Controller" if it's connected to the guest Windows. Neither works with the Xbox Accessories app.

Hello!
The issue has been fixed in Parallels Desktop 20.3.0. Click 'Check for updates' in the product to install the latest Parallels Desktop 20 version.
Unfortunately, even if it was fixed it's broken once again on 20.4.0 at least when using MacOS 26 Developer Beta 4. Controller is recognized in Windows via both Bluetooth and USB however for some reason as others have pointed out Steam sees it as an Xbox 360 controller even if its a Series S/X or Elite Series 2. I doubt this is an issue with Mac as the controller works just fine in MacOS and even registers correctly even in Steam (MacOS Version and the Windows Version via Crossover). In Windows on Parallels as stated Steam sees it as an Xbox 360 controller and this presumably because this is just how Parallels' Virtual Controller driver is reporting it. This all leads me to believe that the issue rests solely on Parallels whether it's a need for driver update or whatnot but until Parallels addresses this issue controllers just will not work despite being detected.
